i've written two poems for my poetry class so far, and i surprisingly don't hate both of them. it's been a long time since i've written poems and it felt a little awkward writing again, but... the process has been very interesting.

i especially like the poem from this week, which is in response to one of my favorite Bukowski poems ("A Smile to Remember"). i know slant rhyme is just, like, another rhyming technique, but man that is my favorite thing to see / write in a poem.
